10C 1827 PCGS MS64+

We love everything about this coin! Not only is right at MS65’s door, the coin just has amazing qualities. The surfaces are actually prooflike. While not in your face prooflike, you do not have to imagine the mirrors are there. The flash plus the luster enliven the surfaces which remarkably are super clean. Even when using a strong glass, you really can’t find any problems any where. Both sides have a bit of original olive/pewter colors around the stars. The balance of the coin is a clear silvery color. We do not believe this coin has been messed with in any way. There actually is a nice contrast. Miss Liberty and the details are really frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is tremendous! PCGS 61, NGC 52, CAC 14. PCGS has graded 5 coins in MS64+. The only PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $7,200.00 09/2017. Keep in mind, a GEM MS65 would cost you at least $20,000.00-if you could find one. This is a super HIGH END coin with some contrast. Even higher graded pieces don’t have this look!
