10C 1839-O ND PCGS MS65+ CAC
Lookie at what this piece has going for it: its a SUPERB HIGH END GEM from an obsolete Mint that’s 177 years old! Did we mention it is very reasonably priced? Whew! Superior smooth surfaces have no outstanding issues. Only with a strong glass can you find a light frost break or contact mark that is well hidden. For an 1839 coin, the luster is very good. Both sides are a totally original dove/pearl gray color. This is NOT a dull or drab coin. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 2, NGC 2, CAC 4. PCGS has graded only 2 coins MS65+ with possibly 7 higher. Regardless, this is NOT a date you see offered much in GEM. Yet again, opportunity knocks loud here!
