You can’t find a coin any more high end than this-it had been the lone NGC PR66 Cameo! We do not know what happened to the insert and we do not guarantee the coin will go back to an NGC PR66 Cameo (although it should).
This coin looks more like a brand new little medal than a PR Dime from 1854! Both sides have extremely clean, clear, and powerfully reflective mirrors. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have the thickest coating of snow white frost imaginable. The eye appeal is more spectacular tan the killer dimes you see from the 1880’s!
PCGS 2, NGC 1, CAC 1. Neither PCGS nor NGC now have any graded higher in cameo. The mintage is estimated to be LESS than 50 pieces. The last one to sell in major auction brought $43,125.00 04/09 Heritage. A regular non cameo NGC PR66 sold for $40,250.00 07/09 Heritage. This coin has NEVER sold at auction.
