10C 1863 PCGS PR65 CAMEO

This is a really nice HIGH END coin.

Deep mirrors beam from all over. The mirrors are clear. If you use a strong glass, you will see the die polishing lines. There are NO problem lines or other issues negative to the coin. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like a fresh sheet of ice. This coin is untoned and does offer strong contrast. Miss Liberty and all the details are fully struck and have thick creamy frosting. The eye appeal is terrific!

Only 460 were minted. PCGS 10, NGC 12, CAC 8. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction did so back in 2012 for around $2,000.00. Fast forward seven years, and these make virtually no appearances at shows or auctions.

This is a wonderful GEM piece from our nations Civil War era that is actually affordable.
