10C 1867S PCGS MS64

$7,500.00

Hard to believe this coin ranks among our favorite purchases at the ANA Show. Why? Its solid for the grade, looks nice, and has tremendous rarity.

Surprisingly lustrous surfaces have bold flash. There are faint traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. To the naked eye the coin looks clean and satiny. Only with a strong glass can you find a tick or two. The color is mostly creamy white with a faint hint of gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. The eye appeal is excellent!

PCGS 4, NGC 2, CAC 2 (this is most likely BOTH). There are NO other CAC’d in ANY grade for the date. PCGS has graded only 2 coins higher. ANY Seated Collector knows how rare ALL MS 1867S coins in any denomination are. This coin sold in the recent Stacks ANA Sale for $6,500.00. An NGC (NON CAC ) sold for $6,325.00 08/07 Heritage. We were fully prepared to pay $8,500.00 all in for this coin. How can it not be worth $10,000.00? We’re still not so sure the market proved us wrong as the auction was too big and other coins fell through the cracks. So we have priced the coin at we feel is a very fair level for BOTH the us and the buyer.

WE HAVE POSTED THIS COIN AT OUR BEST PRICE!
