10C 1870 PCGS PR66 CAMEO

This not only is a superb GEM, it is a VERY HIGH END GEM! Incredible deep mirrors beam intensely from all over. The mirrors display remarkable clarity and cleanliness. Only when using a strong glass can you see light Mint made die polishing lines that we think are all that keeps this stunner from PR67 CAM. When you twirl this coin, the mirrors are a rolling river of flash. A superb ring of violet/blue/gold open into white/pale gold centers on both sides. All the colors are totally original. Miss Liberty and the details re thickly frosted and have full strikes. The  eye appeal is phenomenal! Of the 1000 minted, many were melted by the Mint due to slow sales. PCGS 6, NGC 4, CAC 2. PCGS has graded NONE higher in Cameo. This is a number that should not be taken lightly. The last PCGS 1870 PR 66 Cameo to sell at auction was not CAC.
