10C 1873 W/A PCGS PR65

$6,750.00

This coin is housed in an older green tag holder. we believe it would cameo if sent in for designation review. The quality is VERY high end

Both sides have remarkable deep, clear, clean, and powerfully reflective mirrors. You can tell this coin was NEVER messed with. A light to moderate touch of lilac/lavender/violet/champagne/pale gold colors swirl over the surfaces. This is NOT a dull or gray looking coin. Miss Liberty and the details are FULLY struck and do have bold thick creamy white frosting. The eye appeal is tremendous and is VERY flashy.

Only 800 coins were minted. This is a VERY overlooked date and grade. PCGS 16, NGC 15, CAC 1. PCGS has possibly graded 7 coins higher (all PR66’s).

The last one of these to sell in major auction brought $8,050.00 11/2007-Stacks. These DO NOT appear in ever auction or on the bourse floor too often! Again, if you can think a bit contrarian, a GEM like this is what you should buy!
