10C 1879 PCGS MS67+

WOW! Almost identical to the PCGS MS68 CAC we sold last year. This coin for sure is the epitome of what HIGH END and a + means! There is no question this coin sat totally undisturbed for over 139 years. Phenomenal surfaces are both satiny and have strong traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. There re no impairments to be found-even by using a strong glass. A moderate luster is enlivened by the slight flash of the mirrors. Both sides enjoy the ultimate in totally original toning-bull’s eye toning. The obverse has a gorgeous circle of aqua blue/violet that opens into champagne centers. The reverse has stunning blue/green/violet circular toning. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is remarkable! PCGS 27, NGC 42, CAC 12. PCGS has graded only 3 in MS67+. The current Collectors Universe Value is $5,000.00. Seems cheap to us. We doubt you will ever see more then a handful of ANY date MS Seated Dime surviving in such a pristine condition like this!
