10C 1899 PCGS PR67+

A very interesting coin. We 100% agree its a PR67+ (and so does a tough CAC). Deep mirrors beam from all over. They are super clean, clear, and have bold reflection. The toning is 100% original and has an “old time” lightly muted look. In fact, we think the toning is what keeps this coin from being a PR68. Do know this is NOT a dull coin by any means. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have light frost. The eye appeal IS pleasing! ONLY 846 pieces were minted. PCGS 28, NGC 31, CAC 11. PCGS has graded only 2 coins PR67+ with just ONE in PR 68.Two things happened with this coin-#1 it fell through the cracks. Prior to this piece selling, we have NEVER sold any PR67+ for LESS then $5,500.00.#2 the market has spanked all PR Barbers ALL denom) hard. Still, there is NO reason this should be a $3,500.00 coin!
