It looks like this coin sat some where safe and secure for its 110 years of existence. No question this coin is borderline MS67!
Superior surfaces offer NO problems anywhere. Even if you use a strong glass, you will more ticks on the holder then the coin! The luster is strong and beams though a moderate layer of toning. The obverse has a rich totally original forest green/gold/blue colors while the reverse has the same plus tangerine like centers. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is pretty!
PCGS 13, NGC 2, CAC 8. PCGS has graded only 3 coins in MS66+ and just one higher (MS67). The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $4,230.00 01/2016-in a known weak auction. Sit back and think how many times you have even seen a coin like this offered. It can not be many!
