We rarely ever buy these. This coin just grabbed our eyes so we bought it. Hard to believe, its actually HIGH END too!
Virgin surfaces stand up to the strongest glass. There are ZERO imperfections. Plus, the surfaces are satiny yet have a slight prooflike hint. The luster is strong all over. A splash of totally original reddish gold/green is only a 11-2 on the obverse by the rims. Of course Miss Liberty and every detail are fully struck. You do not need to imagine the bands are split. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 32, NGC 9, CAC 9. The last piece to sell in auction brought $5,750.00 09/2018. As you can see, CAC has not beaned many-they have crazy strict standards for MS68FB coins! Our auction company sold a PCGS MS68+ FB CAC for $35,250.00 03/2019. Opportunity knocks loud here too!
