10C J-641 1868 NGC PR-65

We LOVE these coins struck with out dates on the obverse! It creates a mysterious sort of air about them.

This coin is wicked cool. Save for the fact the planchet has some apparent impurities (visible only under a loop), this coin looks marvelous. Overall, it is clean and does have pretty strong mirrors. The color is a bright nickel white (yes, it may have been dipped). Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally sharp in detail and strike. The reverse has the date and a little star in the upper center. Its very cool.

This is a R-7 which means 7-12 pieces were possibly made. Still, with out a date, its from 1868, and its nickel, we think that in GEM, priced BELOW $10,000.00 the value and upside are tremendous!
