10C 1805 4 BERRIES PCGS MS66+

$79,500.00

Such a colossal SUPERB GEM! Hard to imagine how this magnificent coin has survived in a condition virtually equal to when it left the Mint for 214 years!

We so NO problems that keep this coin from a full MS67 grade. However, there is some weakness in the strike on the reverse (Mint made) and you can see a thin line or two of Mint made die grease. You can also see light clash marks. Overall, this coin is original and well preserved. The luster is surprisingly strong and beams boldly  from all over. Totally original moderate shades of olive/gold/lavender/blue swirl all over. The obverse details are very well struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!

PCGS 5, NGC 4, CAC 4 (we believe one coin is registred 2x). Here is where it gets confusing, the last PCGS CAC MS66 (NO +) to sell in auction brought $82,250.00 05/2015. The last PCGS MS66+ brought $60,000.00 12/2017-a price we totally consider a fluke. The current Collectors Universe value is $85,000.00. We think these should be $100,000.00-but that is our lone opinion.

This is a true SUPERB GEM we just can’t say enough about.
