Remarkable surfaces are just about flawless. There is a well hidden thin scratch on the obverse that will take lots of twirling for you to see. You will NOT be disappointed even using a strong glass. A moderate luster can be seen. Both sides enjoy even original colors of champagne/deep lavender/gold (this is NOT a dull or drab coin). Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is terrific and looks better then an MS63!
