1837 50C Half Dollar Capped Bust, Reeded Edge PCGS MS65+ (CAC)

This is a wonderful and totally original VERY HIGH-END GEM!

Immaculate surfaces are completely mark/tick/line free. We used a strong glass and went over the surfaces several times. A strong luster illuminates moderate and totally original toning. The toning is spread all over. Moderate shades of olive/golden brown/deep blue pewter colors swirl all over. The spots you think you see are just splashes of toning. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and stand out. The eye appeal is pleasing!

PCGS 23, NGC 44, CAC 11 (CAC has banned only 5 coins finer). PCGS has graded only 4 coins in MS65+. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell via auction brought $25,850.00 in 04/2023. The current Collectors Universe value is $37,500.00. There has not been a PCGS CAC MS 66 sold via auction since 2013! We estimate one would cost around $60,000.00 today—if one were for sale.
