1848 50C Half Dollar Liberty Seated, No Motto PCGS MS64 (CAC)

We cracked this coin out of an NGC MS64+ holder. It certainly has its merits for being VERY HIGH END!

Virtually GEM surfaces look great to the naked eye. When using a glass you can spot a few tiny widely scattered ticks on the obverse only. There are strong semi prooflike mirrors. In fact there is a slight hint of contrast. Both sides are evenly toned a steel gray. The coin is NOT dull or drab. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have decent frost. The eye appeal is very excellent!

PCGS 8, NGC 8, CAC 6. We paid $5,400.00 for this piece. It’s worth the money! A PCGS MS64+ NO CAC sold for $7.,638.00 01/2015. MS Seated coins like this are so UNDERvalued today. Opportunity knocks so loud here!
