No question this coin is a SUPER HIGH END piece. Housed in an older blue tag holder.
Remarkable surfaces appear super clean. Only when using a strong glass can you find a few tiny and widely scattered tiny ticks. Besides being flashy from a bold luster, there are ever so light traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. ticks. The coin is a totally original moderate even gold/pale orange gold color. There are no discolorations or spots (there is one small stain spot on the reverse). Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and stand out. The eye appeal sure looks better than just MS62 caliber (we make NO promises)!
PCGS 4, NGC 2, CAC 1. There are no auction record for any PCGS CAC MS 62 ever selling. A PCGS NON CAC MS62+ just brought $12,600.00 in auction 05/2025. . Shockingly, this is the FINEST CAC example of a 1850 $5 Liberty you can buy (note PCGS has graded 2 in MS65). That is a POWERFUL statement considering how long CAC has been around. We strongly believe this coin is terribly UNDERvalued.
