We think its amazing that you can still find a few Large Cents in such pristine condition like this coin. 174 years old and this coin has phenomenal quality!
Remarkable surfaces have ZERO imperfections. We used a strong glass and looked really hard all over. We found NOTHING on the surfaces. There are no hidden flecks either. A light to moderate luster can be seen. Both sides are a GEM original brown with hints of Mint Red. Miss Liberty is sharply struck-the stars are a tad soft. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 43, NGC 35, CAC 33. We doubt the pops are correct. PCGS just won’t grade anything MS67, so we believe there are many coins that had been resubmitted. There has not been one of these sold for a while via auction. The price guides are too low. We think buying these below $2,000.00 is ridiculously cheap!
