We LOVE this totally original VERY HIGH END coin!
Remarkable surfaces have only one or two tiny marks that can only be seen when using a strong glass. Yet, the surfaces are very clean and have a thicker “skin”. This is NOT a dirty coin, nor has it ever been messed with. Clearly it sat undisturbed for a very long time. The luster is moderate. The color is a deeper original gold. There are no discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 56, NGC 38, CAC 15. PCGS has graded only in MS 64+. Some how, the current Collectors Universe value is $4,250.00. A PCGS CAC MS65 (if you could find one) is at least $11,000.00. Hard to believe, there is an PCGS CAC MS67! If you seek top end hard to find $2.5 Libs in MS, this is a great coin for your set!
