The surfaces really are pristine. We put a strong glass to them and they are still pristine! At most we found a few widely scattered microscopic ticks. There re no scrapes. The luster is light. We do consider this coin to have an original “skin”. There is is light deeper gold toning-but this coin is NOT dirty in any way. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is great!
