Hard to believe this coin has been underwater for over 100 years! They did a great job of conservation here!
There are just a few light trivial ticks scattered about. Plus, there are traces of faint semi-prooflike mirrors (not from the cleaning). As far as we can see, the reverse is fully MS60 quality. Overall, this is a really good looking coin!
PCGS 15, NGC 16, CAC 5. The current Collectors universe value for any 1855-S in AU58 is $8,000.00. But this is a genuine Treasure Ship coin and is worth more..
