No question this coin is VERY HIGH END!
Unless you use a very strong glass, the surfaces appear smooth and clean. The ticks are microscopic and are scattered. There is faint traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. The luster is intense. Boths ides are a brilliant yellow gold color. There is some faint copper toning around the eagle on the reverse. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are fully struck. the eye appeal sure looks better then MS63!
PCGS 9, NGC 1, CAC 3. The current Collectors Universe value is $4,500.00. Do not let the PCGS pops fool you. CAC has only graded 3 higher. If you collect $2.5’s, this is a great coin to add to your collection!
