1863/2 3C Three Cent Silver Type 3 PCGS PR64CAM (CAC)

This is a HIGH END and totally SUPERB example of a VERY RARE overdate. Found ONLY on Proofs.

Deep mirrors beam from all over. They have great clarity, cleanliness, and are highly reflective. only with a strong glass can you find light lines that keep this coin from a PR65 designation. There is a tiny planchet chip on the reverse mentioned for accuracy and a tiny toning dot on the obverse (not a fleck). Both sides are untoned and offer strong contrast. Every detail is sharply struck and does have a good coating of frost. The 3/2 is visible with a glass. The eye appeal is flashy and excellent!

ONLY 460 could have been minted. No one knows how many are the overdates. PCGS 8, NGC 5, CAC 5. This coin brought $8,225.00 in 2019. The current Collectors Universe value is $10,000.00. The rarity of this date is undisputed in ALL grades. No question the market has put this coin on sale. We feel this coin is valued way too cheap.
