Another fabulous GEM from the TYPETONE Collection. No question this coin is SUPERB!
As with all TYPETONE coins, the mirrors are deep and offer strong reflection. There is a line of toning not a scratch on the left obverse. This coin has super clean mirrors. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors do have a “watery” like roll. A faint mix of honey/pale champagne colors swirl all over. The contrast is strong. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have creamy white frost. The eye appeal is beautiful!
Only 460 were minted of this Civil War era date. PCGS 10, NGC 4, CAC 5. CAC has only beaned one PR67 Cameo higher. This is the coin that brought $3,300.00 in 2020. The Collectors Universe value is $3,000.00. All the hard work was done for you here!
