This is God’s gift to MS 2C pieces. In our opinion (we had not seen the other one in many years), this coin puts all other GEM RD pieces to shame. We rank the coin as SUPER HIGH END! Even the common dates of the 1864s don’t come looking like this!

Remarkable and totally ORIGINAL surfaces are a sight to behold. The surfaces are super clean and smooth. Looking around using a strong glass, there are no flecks or problems. There is a small planchet chip hidden on the obverse. We can’t believe this coin’s intense luster. The GEM MINT RD color on this coin is unequalled to any other you will see. The eye appeal of this coin is at the MONSTER levels and is one you will NEVER forget! We knew we wouldn’t.

PCGS 9, NGC 7, CAC 2. We paid $78,000.00 in 2018 for the other coin. The price guides for this MONSTER are a joke. It is our VERY strong opinion that an MS66 RD SM motto looking like this should be worth $100,000.00. It’s been 8 years now since the other one showed up.
