1864 3C Three Cent Silver Type 3 PCGS PR67 (CAC)

We LOVE this totally ORIGINAL and SUPERB GEM coin! It is VERY HIGH END!

This piece simply has NO negatives. Deep mirrors beam boldly all over. We used a strong glass and found NO imperfections anywhere. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like a freshly formed ice. There are some splashes of gorgeous original toning. Moderate shades of blue/evergreen/light plum colors swirl all over. Every detail if fully struck and has delicate frost. The eye appeal is terrific!

Only 470 were minted. PCGS 9, NGC 6, CAC 6. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell via auction brought $9,988.00 6/19. The current Collectors Universe value is only $9,000.00. These can NOT be found these days. The published prices need to be updated. In general, we think ALL PR 67 3CS are GROSSLY UNDERvalued. This coin will make a great addition to any GEM set!
