Having built the FINEST EVER Pattern set-The BRS Legacy Collection, we have seen just about every great Pattern that exists. Plus, dates like the 1869’s (of which there are numerous examples), we know how they come and how they don’t come. And this coin is above and beyond anything we have ever seen. Clearly left in an album long ago, mother nature took over and really did some spectacular work. Deep, clear, and incredibly flashy mirrors adorn both sides. A monster mix of blue/gold/forest green/purple colors swirls like mad on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are needle sharp in strike. Your jaw will drop when you see this killer GEM! This is an R-5 coin with an est 31-75 minted. This is also the FINEST graded for J-733. Way too cool! Do not be afraid of the values of Patterns-they actually are too cheap.
