Not a date or grade we see very often. This coin is a borderline AU62! Its a term. But we’ve seen lesser coins in higher holders.
For a big gold coin, there are only scattered and MINOR ticks. The surfaces are also satiny smooth. A strong luster illuminates the coin all over. Both sides are a GEM original even gold color. There are NO spots, discolorations , or toning patches anywhere. No question this coin was never messed with. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. ALL wear is light and is really hidden. The eye appeal is awesome!
PCGS 173, NGC 304, CAC 59. PCGS has graded 11 in AU58+. There has not been one of these sold via auction since 2018. That’s forever ago. The current Collectors Universe value is $6,000.00.
