Nearly fully prooflike surfaces (no imagination needed) highlight everything. You can clearly see tick and scrapes are almost non existent. There is a strong luster. In hand, this coin really glows. There is also heavy original orange gold toning. This coin does not exhibit any of the “dirty” toning the hoard coins all have. There actually is some contrast.
