Quite possibly the FINEST KNOWN example of a J-1056. This coin even SImpson did not have in high condition. We rank this coin as crazy HIGH END!
We used a strong glass and looked all over this coin and found NADA. The mirrors are strong and have tremendous clarity. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like freshly made glass. The obverse is remarkably 85% GEM Mint red. While the reverse has killer deep shades of navy/forest green/purple/GEM Mint red. There are no flecks. Every detail is needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is crazy cool!
PCGS 1, NGC 2, CAC 1. The current Collectors Universe value is $17,500.00. NONE are known in red and none are graded in BN. Way back in 2008 this coin brought $19,000.00. We think it represents tremendous value today!
