1874 $1 Dollar Trade PCGS MS65+ (CAC) REMARKABLE!

We can not stress enough how rare this date is in TRUE GEM like this. We last handled this beauty way back in 2017. It has been off the market ever since. This coin is really VERY HIGH END and is closer to MS 66 than MS 65! We should know, Legend has built the all time finest ever MS TD set Ex Morelan. His quest involved looking at every single GEM of every date we could find. So we know how these come. You’ll probably never be offered another 1874 in as good of a condition.

The surfaces have very minimal and tiny ticks that can only be seen using a strong glass. The are a thick satiny texture too. It is our opinion this coin is one tiny hidden tick from an MS66. The luster is seriously above average (know the luster is not like on an 80S Morgan). Both sides area GEM original white. Clearly, this coin has never been messed with. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and are extremely well struck. The eye appeal is exceptional too!

PCGS 5, NGC 5, CAC 3. CAC has an MS66 and the incredible MS 67 finer. This is the only PCGS MS65+. It last sold in 2017 for $21,150.00 and has been away ever since. That is how rare this date and grade is . In fact, we cannot remember even handling any MS64’s in the past few years. The current Collectors Universe value somehow is $27,500.00. We purchased this coin recently from an estate auction. It has been off the market since at least 2017. You just do not see better MS Trade Dollars offered any more.
