This is the same VERY HIGH END coin that originally sold for $72,000.00 IN 2022 to Tom Bender in the original Fairmont Sale. We then purchased it for a customer for $43,000.00 later in 2022. We LOVE this coin, it is seriously better than most.
Faint prooflike mirrors can be seen when you tilt the coin. Seriously above average surfaces stand out. There are just a few TINY and widely scattered ticks/small cuts. You need a glass to see them. The luster is bold. Both sides have some faint original toning-however the deep gold color stands out. This is NOT a “dirty” coin. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and are loaded with frost. The eye appeal is fabulous!
