We think this coin just lacks a little more luster and would be an AU55.
Pleasing surfaces appear smooth and clean. only when using a strong glass can you find tiny ticks scattered about. The luster is unusually strong. There are faint traces of semi-prooflike surfaces.The luster is good. Boths ides are a choice and totally original deep gold color. There are NO spots or stains. The eye appeal is great!
PCGS 18, NGC 10, CAC 1. This coin is far rarer than most people realize. CAC has only beaned 8 coins in ALL grades. We paid more than the current Collectors Universe value of $3,500.00. Good luck finding another example of this date in ANY GRADE!
