Deep mirrors offer a lot of “punch” to the Wayte Raymond toning that is all over. The mirrors are deep, clear, and are clean. When you twirl the coin, you do see a watery like roll through the color. Gorgeous peripheral colors of blue/violet/gold swirl all over. There is some moderate contrast. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and stand out. The eye appeal is terrific!
PCGS 2, NGC 11, CAC 2. Nothing anywhere is graded higher. The last sales record we could find for the date and grade was for one sold back in 2002 which was NOT CAC or this coin obviously. That coin brought $8,625.00 back then! Some how, the current Collectors universe value is $8,750.00. We think that is a bit low. This date in PR 65 and above are seldom seen!
