1879-S $5 Gold Liberty With Motto PCGS MS64 (CAC) OGH NEAT!

A colorful HIGH END piece.

There are a few trivial scuffs and ticks visible. Nothing is serious. Overall, the surfaces appear clean and smooth. There is a moderate layer of what we call “original skin” visible. The luster is really strong and there are some faint traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. Both sides are a GEM original deep gold./pale orange gold color. There are no no discolorations or spots. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is gorgeous!

PCGS 12, NGHC 8, CAC 3. CAC has graded NONE finer! The last PCGS CAC piece to sell via auction was way back in 2019. The current Collectors universe value is $8,500.00. This is a prime example of a date and grade you never see!
