Hard to imagine how this fantastic SUPERB GEM coin managed to stay that way for 144 years! This HIGH END piece is all there and then some.
Dreamy surfaces are super clean and have a satiny texture. We used a strong glass and looked all over and found nothing worthy of discussion. The luster is a bold and glowing like cartwheel. Both sides are an even original GEM WHITE color. This coin was never dipped or messed with. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have thick frost. A Morgan purist will go nuts over how clean the cheek it. The eye appeal is terrific too!
PCGS 321, NGC 176, CAC 78. PCGS has graded 41 in MS67+. We doubt many survive looking like this coin does. On 06/2024 a PCGS MS67+ CAC sold for $21,600.00. The price guidies have not caught up. For sure we have not seen any for sale recently. This coin will be a stand out in any SUPERB GEM set!
