1881-O $1 Dollar Morgan PCGS MS65DM NO CAC NICE! EASTERN SHORE COLLECTION

We were robbed! It is our opinion this coin could have been CAC’d. To us, it’s a real DMPL. We do very much consider this coin average for the grade.

Full 8″ mirrors have lots of flash. Only a few widely scattered ticks are visible. Nothing is serious or stands out. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors have that “watery” like roll. The contrast is strong. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and are coated with a thick frost. The eye appeal is excellent!

PCGS 20, NGC 5, CAC 5. The last PCGS NO CAC piece to sell in auction brought $6,600.00 in 1/2024. The current Collectors Universe value is $8,500.00. CAC forgets, O Mints do not all come the same. This is a pleasing coin and will be a nice fit into any GEM DMPL set.
