This is a fresh and SUPER HIGH-END coin. We have indeed seen MS65 DMPL’s that are not as nice!
Exciting deep mirrors rank probably 9″ deep and have tons of blast. Ticks are light and are widely scattered. The mirrors exhibit great clarity. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors do have a “watery” roll. The contrast is bold. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have strong frost. The eye appeal is pretty neat!
PCGS 94, NGC 56, CAC 15. We paid strong for this coin because of its quality and eye appeal. We NEVER see this date come so well mirrored and without haze. The current Collectors Universe value is $1,300.00-but we paid more. We assure you, this coin is all there and then some for an 1882 DMPL!
