1883 5C Nickel Shield PCGS MS67 (CAC) WONDERFUL!

WOW, its been a long time since we have handled a really high grade Shield 5C. Talk about sneaky rare!!! Obviously, this coin was worth the wait.
No question this is an MS and not a proof. The surfaces are satiny and have no mirrors. You can see some ultra light die cracks with a strong glass. The luster is strong and shows off totally original nickel/pale golden brown color. This coin was never dipped. There are NO spots or stains. Every detail is sharply struck and has light frost. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 24, NGC 23, CAC 13 The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $8,400.00-2019! That does seem a bit high. The current Collectors Universe is only $3,500.00 (which in our opinion is to low) Its not quite registering with us as to why these are not at least $5,000.00 coins. Time will straighten that out. Until then, this coin will benefit and highlight any collection it is placed in.
