A glorious GEM! WOW! First off this coin has the flashiest mirrors you can imagine. Rotate the surfaces in a light and the fields light up with bold, brilliantly reflective fields. Awesome azure, rose, and magenta hues swirl all over giving this borderline SUPERB Seated half a great look.
Only 875 Proofs were struck. PCGS 15, NGC 15, CAC 7. This is the ONLY PR66+ and there are just four graded finer in the designation, all PR67. This coin has not sold in auction as a PR66+ and the current PCGS Price Guide lists a value of $5,250. Worthy of a strong bid, no PR67 has sold in over four years!
Addition notes: The current Collectors Universe value is $5,750.00. Pretty toned GEM Proof coins have not been seen with much frequency lately.
