A HANDS DOWN SUPER HIGH END GEM DMPL!
Full 8″++ mirrors nearly blind you as they are exceedingly intense. They have tremendous clarity. There is only one microscopic tick we can see otherwise this coin is super clean. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like they belong to a proof coin. There is an intense full black and white contrast. The coin looks like it was craved from a frosty block of ice. Miss Liberty and every detail are fully struck and are thickly frosted. Her cheek is amazing and will please any picky “old timer”. The eye appeal is jaw dropping!
PCGS 63, NGC 13, CAC 17. PCGS has graded 10 in MS66+ DMPL. We’d challenge this coins mirrors and quality vs all others! This is the last 1884-O PCGS MS66+ DMPL to sell vi auction. It brought $9,106.00 back in 03/2018. And it has been with the same collector since then! There are DMPL’s, then there are DMPL’s like this!
