1885 $1 Dollar Morgan PCGS MS66DM+ (CAC) FLASHY!

Finding HIGH END and really flashy DMPL’s like this has become a real chore.

Deep 8″ mirrors are the kind you seek. There are just a few small scuffs/ticks scattered around (not enough to lessen the grade by any means). When you twirl the coin, the mirrors have a “watery” like roll like proof mirrors do. The contrast is strong. This coin is untoned. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and are loaded with thick creamy white frost. The eye appeal is wonderful!

PCGS 119, NGC 58, CAC 35. PCGS has graded 23 in MS66+ DMPL. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell via auction brought $5,760.00 09/2024. The price guides need to play catch up for most DMPL’s.
