This is a sensationally high end and high grade specimen that is tied for FINEST graded! The rarity of the circulation strike 1885 Liberty nickel in GEM Mint State has always put extra pressure on the Proofs, especially in ultra high grades as here.

The PRISTINE, flawless surfaces are flashy with rolling cartwheels that accent the watery mirrored fields. An exacting strike produced devices that are razor sharp with crisp, complete definition on both sides. The surfaces are gently dusted with iridescent pastel tone imparting a vivacious and sensational look to this impressive, exceptionally high end, and beautiful PR68. We really love this coin and are proud to offer it again.
