1886 $1 Dollar Morgan PCGS MS65DM (CAC) SIMPSON

This HIGH END coin is from the one of the greatest collections ever formed-Simpson. It is one of the earliest coins Legend sold him and has not been offered for sale for many years.

Full 8″ deep mirrors have strong reflection. There are just a few tiny and scattered ticks. The mirrors have no haze. There are NO big hits or unsightly issues. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors do have a “watery” like roll. The contrast is strong. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have strong frost. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 155, NGC 60, CAC 18. We were shocked to see so few CAC’d. The last PCGS CAC to sell via auction was back in 2019-and that coin brought $1,200.00. Our selling price for this piece is not inflated by the coins tremendous pedigree!
