Nearly flawless surfaces have a widely scattered light tick or two which are super tiny. This coin is unquestionably one of the cleanest 1886’s we have ever seen. A full booming cartwheel luster lights up both sides. There is no toning and the coin is totally original. The cheek is super clean and well rounded. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have gentle frost. The eye appeal is PHENOMENAL!
PCGS 27, NGC 41, CAC 6. Hard to believe but NO PCGS MS68 CAC has been sold via major public auction. All the published price guides are for NON CAC examples. If you are building one of the top PCGS CAC sets, This coin is a must have-or if you need a better Morgan for a top type set.
