One of Legends specialties over the last 40+ years has been DMPL’s. We have NEVER seen an 1887 P looking like this beast or even remotely close!
Killer deep 9″++ mirrors light would light up the darkest room. There are a few ticks and bagmarks but nothing stands out., When you have mirrors this bold you will see tiny marks. More imortant, we can’t stress enough the clarity of the mirrors. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors do display a watery like roll. A think band of navy/reddish gold/magenta frames parts of the outer rims only. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and are thickly frosted. The contrast is like the eye appeal-amazing!
PCGS 46, NGC 19, CAC 5. NONE of the price guides are even close and all are in desperate need of updating. This is a coin you treasure forever!
