Here is a new term: REALLY HIGH END! What a cool coin!
Terrific mirrors are deep and have great clarity. Only when using a strong glass can you see a few light wispy lines. Nothing stands out. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors have a strong watery like roll. There are totally original splashes of navy/auburn colors on the periperhies. The contrast is strong. This is not a dull or drab coin. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted a creamy white and are fully struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!
ONLY 800 were minted. PCGS 27, NGC 14, CAC 10. The last PCGS CAC example to sell via auction brought $2,280.00 12/2024. The current Collectors Universe Value is $2,650.00. These have become so hard to find!
