Housed in an older blue tag holder. No question this coin is SUPER HIGH END! We LOVE it too!
For an 88S, this coin has really strong nearly 6″ mirrors. There is lots of blast from them. The mirrors also enjoy strong clarity. There are very few ticks and the ones that exist are super tiny. When you twirl the coin, the mirrors enjoy a strong “watery” like roll. The contrast is light but good. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is a true WOW -even thought the coin is only graded 63.
PCGS 85. NGC 82. CAC 7. Its crazy, but one sold for $3,120.00 12/2022 in auction (and it was NOT CAC). Some how there is a $1,000;00 Collectors Universe value. We know, ALL PL and DMPL 1888S $1 are too cheap and are VERY RARE! This coin will do more than just fill a hole!
