1889 3C Three Cent Nickel CACG PR67CAM (CAC)

Again, we LOVE the way CACG grades!

This coin is one TINY planchet chip from being a PR68 Cameo. Overall, the you can’t find a cleaner proof. The mirrors have strong clarity too (this is a lively coin). The contrast is also strong. There are no spots or toning patched. all fo the details are frosted and are well struck. The eye appeal is unbeatable!

PCGS 22, NGC 14, CAC 22. The last PCGS CAC example to sell via auction brought $2,040.00 03/2023. Sadly, this is such an unloved series. We LOVE the fact its obsolete and there really are not all that many higher graded pieces around.
