1890 50C Half Dollar Liberty Seated, Motto PCGS PR65 (CAC)

Mother Nature did some incredible work here!

Super deep and ultra flashy mirrors highlight this special coin. Only a few super light hidden lines keep this coin from exploding into a PR66 grade. You need a strong glass to see them (and turn the coin). When you twirl the coin the mirrors sparkle like freshly formed ice. Mother Nature did a heck of job. Totally original deeper colors of navy/royal blue/gold/violet/pale forest green swirl all over. There is strong contrast on the obverse. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and have strong frost. The eye appeal is a masterpiece of color!

Only 590 were minted. PCGS 21, NGC 39, CAC 9. The last CAC coin to sell via auction was an NGC piece. That coin brought $4,230.00 01/2019. Holey cow! We can not find any PCGS CAC pieces that have sold via auction. That’s a tough coin! There are no correct price guides for this coin. We feel this coin is prices more than reasonable.
